The New York Jets announced today that Rich Reichert of St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) High School has been named this week's recipient of the New York Jets High School Coach of the Week Award. Reichert is in his 26th season as the head coach of the Friars. Under his direction, his alma mater has won 13 Catholic High School Football League (CHSFL) championships, with 10 coming in the past 11 seasons. He’s instructed kids for 20 years on the fundamentals and proper techniques of playing football at the Friars football camp for kids in sixth through ninth grades.
