What is the New York Jets Flight Crew?

The New York Jets Flight Crew was created in 2007 to enhance the overall fan experience by infusing additional energy and enthusiasm to each home game. Members of the multi-talented, multi-purpose entertainment team are dancers, flag runners, athletes and active participants in the Jets community. Whether they are performing a choreographed dance routine or appearing at New York Jets charity events, every member of the New York Jets Flight Crew is committed to excellence and serving as role models for Jets fans across the globe.

 

How can I become a member of the New York Jets Flight Crew?

The 2010 New York Jets Flight Crew has already been chosen, be sure to check back in after this season for 2011 audition information.

 

How many members does the New York Jets Flight Crew have?

The 2010 squad consisted of 38 members. The total number of members varies from year to year.

 

What will I do as a member of the Flight Crew?

As a member of the Jets Flight Crew Cheerleaders squad you may experience:

• Dancing on the sidelines at home jets preseason and regular season games

• Entertaining 80,000 fans

• Becoming a part of jets history as the first cheerleading squad to perform at the new meadowlands

• Gaining television and media opportunities

• Potential modeling opportunities with the chance to be selected for our 2010 swimsuit calendar and television special

• Making a difference in the lives of others by getting involved with charity events and hospital visits

• Make personal appearances at jets and community events

• Impacting young girls by teaching at our first ever junior flight crew cheerleaders program
